Hi I’m Cindy Flood, the Director of Children’s Ministries at Mt. Pleasant Church. I have the amazing and awesome privilege of ministering for the Lord in the Children’s Department by teaching them God’s Word, motivating their spiritual growth and organizing the Christ - centered activities from nursery age through the sixth grade. Children have always been a passionate part of my life and sharing Jesus with them is a wonderful responsibility that has given me much joy and many blessings. The purpose and goal of the Mt. Pleasant Children’s Department is threefold. We, the staff, teachers, helpers, volunteers and parents with loving interaction will strive to ensure each child successfully
My husband, John, and I have been attending Mt. Pleasant since we were first married and the verse from Proverbs 22:6 has been a treasured promise for us as our children grew up in the church. Marcus and Jessica are now attending Huntington College in Indiana. Marcus is a junior, majoring in youth Ministries and Jessica is a sophomore, majoring in Psychology. We thank God and the Mt. Pleasant church for all their past love, teaching and support as our family grew. We now ask God’s help as we serve others by continuing to “train children in the way they should go” endeavoring to Build, Belong and Become the Family of God.
